I've been meaning to write you one of these for too long to keep putting it off... so I'm just going to do it, NOW:

knew William's sonnets
as well as Les Mis;
So restless, so passionate,
Yearning to love,
to pour all of the Loving
his Being threw forth
into One whom his heartstrings could harmonize with
through this lifetime;
Deserved it
without even trying
his substance runs deep
though his pop-culture potty-mouth lighter side
-funny!-
could lead smaller minds not to see
or to seek his great Depths;
some have known,
and appreciate
Ami
his loving
his gifts
and his vast contribution
to this rock-hard planet;
I know,
I have known him
at four in the morning
on many a night
in intensive discussion
of every possible subject
he knew all the details, the facts,
and together, we clashed minds
explosively both were expanding
into exponential directions
We came from opposing poles
of California
from differing lifestyles and backgrounds
but bridged every difference
loved every moment
I've loved knowing
You've met your Match
and I'm sorry I couldn't
attend your
Grand Meshing Occasion--
Your Marriage--
in-person;
I'm happy, I know through my soul
that you've each found your Soul Mates
and though I have yet to meet Julie (the Rabbi)
I know that we'll have opportunities yet;
and as I've found Alexa,
and cherish each moment I spend next to Naia,
I'm happy to say I am Living My DreamLife as well--
